After all surfaces were pressure washed, posts, spindles, siding on the house and decking on the porch were newly stained. To prevent wild animals from continuing to infiltrate the under side of the porch, a new skirt of Hardie board was added, with hinged access door at one end.
Originally built in 1989, this home had never been updated when the current owner purchased it in 2021. I sanded all woodwork and painted where directed. After their elderly dog died, I laid 2900 sq. ft of engineered wood flooring throughout the house.
A trash compactor, located in the middle right, was later removed and replaced by three new drawers that would match existing drawer profiles.
I painted all the walls throughout the house and here, in the kitchen, the cabinets and island. Subcontractors installed new marble counter tops and I installed new backsplash tile.
After removal of existing tile and loose mortar, I free-hand floated Rapid Set concrete on these back steps.
Originally built in 1953, this Mid-Century Modern home had not been well-maintained for many years. Our family purchased it to serve as the main Lodge for my step-son's Outfitting business.
After the laborious removal of linoleum and cork flooring that lay beneath the carpet, I laid 2000 sq. ft. of new engineered hardwood flooring throughout the house. Wallpaper was stripped from the walls and new paint was then added.
After removal of carpet and pergo flooring, I painstakingly leveled the concrete floor beneath. Hardwood floor, and fresh paint on the walls followed soon thereafter.
